About The Position

Ohana Pacific Health is Hawaii's largest locally owned post-acute healthcare company. The Villas is seeking an Executive Chef to lead its culinary team in delivering nutritious, quality meals to clients and residents. The Executive Chef is responsible for the quality of meals and service, and for establishing and maintaining standards for quality, conduct, and productivity. The role includes general management of the Dining Services Department, including the kitchen and dining room; managing productivity, costs, and budgets; overseeing kitchen sanitation and safety; supporting resident satisfaction and personnel development; and leading the facility’s strategic planning efforts.

Requirements

Four years of experience in a supervisory role.
Four years of experience in dining services.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Knowledge and understanding of cooking skills.
Ability to follow instructions and recipes consistently.

Responsibilities

Lead the culinary team in delivering nutritious, quality meals to clients and residents.
Ensure the quality of meals served and the quality of service.
Establish and maintain standards for quality, conduct, and productivity.
Manage the Dining Services Department, including the kitchen and dining room.
Oversee productivity, costs, and budgets.
Oversee kitchen sanitation and safety.
Support resident satisfaction.
Develop personnel.
Lead the facility’s strategic planning efforts.
