About The Position
Ohana Pacific Health is seeking a passionate Culinary/Cook Assistant to prepare, cook, and serve nutritious meals and create positive experiences for Kupuna. The role supports activities throughout the department, including the kitchen and dining areas, under the direction of the Culinary Director. It is responsible for the quality of meals and service and for complying with special-diet requirements.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current and valid two-step TB clearance and health review; these can be completed in-house.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in food service or working with Kupuna.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, cook, and serve nutritious meals.
- Set up dining areas, wash dishes, and collect food trays as needed.
- Support department activities in the kitchen and dining areas under the direction of the Culinary Director.
- Help ensure the quality of meals and service and comply with special diets for Kupuna.
