About The Position

As a Dietary Aide, you will help ensure customer satisfaction during dining service. You will support line cooks in coordinating kitchen activities, take residents’ orders, and serve food and beverages in a timely manner. The role requires excellent customer service skills and a courteous, helpful demeanor. This is a part-time opportunity for 26 hours, with a stated 11 AM–7 PM schedule. Employees must be available every other weekend and rotating holidays.

Responsibilities

Serve residents during meal times.
Deliver meals to customers outside the building and prepare to-go orders promptly.
Keep the kitchen supplied with clean dishes, pots, pans, and utensils.
Keep the kitchen clean during the shift, including taking out trash, cleaning floors, and returning dishes, pots, pans, and utensils to their proper locations.
Portion food and beverages for meal service.
Set and bus tables in dining areas.
Clean and maintain dining and service areas, including counters, tables, chairs, walls, furnishings, floors, and affected common areas.
Initiate and complete tray-service delivery and pick-up for residents as needed.
Deliver clean dishes, cups, glasses, bowls, and tableware to storage areas.
Unload the dishwashing machine or hand-wash items that are not machine washable.
Set up and clean up private parties and functions.
Assist with training new personnel.
Perform other duties as assigned.
