About The Position

AdvisaCare is hiring experienced Resident Aides and Med Techs to support clients at an Independent Living Community in the Spring Lake area. The role involves providing resident care and assistance, supporting residents during meals, and helping maintain a welcoming community environment. Full-time and part-time opportunities are available, with all shifts available. Shifts are 12 hours: 7 AM–7 PM or 7 PM–7 AM.

Requirements

Recent experience or training in other Independent or Assisted Living Facilities and/or MORC certification.
Friendly personality and willingness to spend time with residents.
High school diploma or GED.
Reliable transportation.
Valid driver’s license.
Ability to work responsibly both as part of a team and independently.
Good communication skills.
Ability to travel within the service area.
CPR certification.
Ability to pass a drug screen and clear a background check.

Responsibilities

Pass medications.
Assist residents with activities of daily living, including showering, dressing, and toileting.
Interact with residents and their families.
Monitor the dining room and interact with residents during meal times.
Handle fast-paced situations.
Assist with transfers as needed.
Perform light housework duties.
