About The Position

Responsible for understanding the Resort and all of its lodging properties, as well as the property management systems, in order to make reservations for incoming guests based on their needs and the options available.

Requirements

Must be available to work flexible hours to include nights, weekends, and holidays
Respond to clients in a timely manner
Actively communicate with internal team members to ensure guest satisfaction.
Ability to identify areas that require attention without always being directed to do so

Responsibilities

Create/modify/cancel reservations
Process confirmations
Post advance deposits and provide receipts as requested
Process cancellation penalties and deposit refunds
Review and settle No-Show reservations
Have a working knowledge of reservation billing functions
Review reports to ensure audit requirements are met
Book complimentary certificate reservations and other specified complimentary/discounted reservations
Manage guest correspondence/requests and reservation updates in the 3rd party extranets
Balance the house for room type oversell dates
Contribute to Omni’s Select Guest program by actively enrolling new members
Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of the Resorts services and events
Handle mail/correspondence/brochure requests
Assist Sales and Conference Services when specific questions arise regarding groups
Assist internal Associates with occupancy and availability information
Assist OmniRez with specific questions that help them to sell and close reservations sales
Complete additional projects as needed and assigned by management
Accurately inputting group rooming lists
Applying group routing
Assigning guest rooms to reservations within a group block
Additional projects as assigned by Manager
