About The Position

Arbor Day Foundation is seeking a Reservationist for Arbor Day Farm, a property owned and operated by the Arbor Day Foundation. This role is crucial in providing the first impression for guests, cross-training as a Reservations/Front Desk Agent. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering warm, welcoming, and world-class service. The Arbor Day Foundation is a conservation organization dedicated to educating and engaging people globally in planting, nurturing, and celebrating trees as a solution to global issues like air and water quality, climate change, deforestation, poverty, and hunger. Requirements

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to provide excellent guest service in person, over the phone, and via email.
• Knowledge of proper telephone etiquette.
• Experience with computers.
• Ability to learn the OPERA computer system.
• Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Basic computer and multi-line phone system skills.
• Positive Attitude.
• Ability to smile and be courteous to guests.
• Be an energetic and optimistic team player.
• Ability to accept constructive feedback.
• Detail Oriented skills.
• Strong organizational, time management, and planning skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide critical first impressions.
• Cross-train as a Reservations/Front Desk Agent.
• Provide service that is warm, welcoming, and world-class to all guests.
• Gather details and ensure all requests are handled and ready when guests arrive.
• Work as a team and individually.
• Contribute to a fun work environment with teamwork at the forefront to ensure a positive experience for guests.
