The Reservationist will report to the General Manager and is responsible for managing and coordinating reservations for transportation services. They work closely with passengers to gather information and ensure a smooth and efficient experience. The role requires excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Requirements

Ability to effectively communicate with customers, vendors, and all employees from drivers to executives.
Proficiency in computer systems and reservation software.
Excellent organization and multi-tasking skills with strong attention to detail.
Superior problem-solving skills with the ability to think on one’s feet.
Polished and professional in both appearance and conduct.
One year of professional experience in office administration, reception, customer service, executive assistance, or similar field.
High school diploma or GED
Pre-Employment Background check and drug screening
Ability to handle multiple tasks accurately and effectively.
Excellent customer service.
Professional demeanor and appearance.
Reliable in attendance.
Team player and helpful to staff, management, and peers.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge and working experience with Microsoft Office with an emphasis on creating and maintaining spreadsheets
Experience with SharePoint a plus.

Responsibilities

Answer passenger calls collecting all necessary trip information for the permissible time period.
Provide system information for current and new passengers as well as for potential passengers on accessing the transportation service and using it effectively.
Complete data entry of passenger file information and for specific trip requests, negotiating requested times where necessary or appropriate.
Provide feedback to passengers in the way of follow-up calls as a course of duty or as required by schedule changes.
Communicate passenger cancellations in a timely manner to scheduling, dispatch, or vehicle operations personnel.
Maintain a safe work area and a focus on safety to reduce the opportunity for injury to self or other employees.
Maintain accurate records and appropriate filing systems.
Communicate effectively with operations staff regarding scheduling or passenger issues.
