About The Position
U-Haul is hiring a Reservation Agent to support customers, field team members, and U-Haul dealerships through reservation placement and equipment distribution. Under the direction of the Traffic Control Manager, the role focuses on customer service and helping manage reservations and equipment in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. The position also assists with U-Haul’s U-Box portable storage product. The listed location is 11202 Antoine Dr, Houston, Texas 77066. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must not require employer sponsorship. U-Haul states that, consistent with applicable state law, it will not hire or re-hire nicotine-product users in Texas and other listed states.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Working knowledge of office equipment, including multiline phones, phone etiquette, Word, and email.
- Proficiency in customer service, time management, and multitasking.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
- U-Haul will not hire or re-hire nicotine-product users in Texas, consistent with applicable state law.
Responsibilities
- Assist with calls from and to customers.
- Support field team members and U-Haul dealerships with equipment and reservation management and placement.
- Direct incoming customers’ equipment to areas according to customer demand and productivity status to help balance regional inventory and meet future demand.
- Review reports that support effective equipment placement, customer reservations, and contracts, and help maintain equipment availability and accuracy.
- Assist with the Company’s U-Box portable storage product.
