About The Position

The Reservation Agent supports customers, field team members, and U-Haul dealerships by assisting with reservation placement and equipment distribution. Under the direction of the Traffic Control Manager, the role helps direct equipment to areas according to customer demand and productivity status to balance regional inventory and meet future demand. The position also assists with U-Box portable storage. The listed schedule is Friday 3–8 p.m., Saturday 2–7 p.m., and Sunday 9 a.m.–5 p.m. The position is located at 790 SW 12th Ave, Pompano Beach, Florida 33069. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must not require employer sponsorship.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Working knowledge of office equipment, including multiline phones, phone etiquette, Word, and email.
Proficiency in customer service, time management, and multitasking.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must not require employer sponsorship.
U-Haul will not hire or re-hire individuals who use nicotine products in Florida, consistent with applicable state law.

Responsibilities

Assist with calls from and to customers.
Support field team members and U-Haul dealerships with equipment and reservation management and placement.
Direct incoming customers' equipment to areas based on customer demand and productivity status to help balance regional market inventory levels and meet future demand.
Review reports that support effective equipment placement, customer reservations, and contracts, and help create equipment availability and accuracy.
Assist with the U-Box portable storage product.
