About The Position

The Reservation Agent serves as the gateway to the guest experience at Commodore Perry Estate, The Knox, and Bowie House. The role curates reservations and delivers personalized, informative service, accurately recording guest contact details and relevant history, preferences, and special occasions. The agent responds to questions about reservations, availability, accommodations, pricing, and offers, and maintains detailed knowledge of resort facilities, lodging, rates, spa services, events, local points of interest, and directions. The position also supports guest challenge resolution in coordination with other teams, ensures accurate billing and financial transactions, and appropriately upsells resort services and offerings. This is a remote role, and the employee must reside in Texas.

Requirements

• Two years of experience in a hospitality, spa, or reservations position.
• Ability to create professional business letter correspondence.
• Gracious people and sales skills, an excellent phone manner, and the ability to engage positively with every guest.
• Ability to work cohesively with other departments and coworkers as part of a team.
• Must reside in the state of Texas.

Responsibilities

• Create a genuine, informative, and personalized guest reservations experience.
• Accurately enter guest contact information and add relevant details to guest histories, including previous stay experiences, special occasions, and preferences.
• Respond to inquiries about room reservations, availability, accommodations, pricing, and special offers.
• Maintain complete knowledge of resort facilities and services, accommodations, rates and promotions, spa offerings, availability, events, directions, and local services and attractions.
• Assist with guest challenge resolution and work with guest service team members and other departments to follow through and exceed guest expectations when possible.
• Ensure guest billing and financial transactions are executed accurately and efficiently.
• Upsell services and offerings as appropriate and educate guests about resort offerings.
