About The Position
This position is for a Research Assistant within the Common Law Section at the University of Ottawa, for the Fall 2026 semester. The role involves contributing to the "Common Law en Bref" project, specifically in writing and updating Common Law texts. The contract is intended to be renewed in January and conclude on April 9th, 2027. The hiring process will adhere to the CUPE 2626 collective agreement.
Requirements
- Must be enrolled in one of the programs offered by the University of Ottawa’s Faculty of Law.
- Must be familiar with the citation rules of the Canadian Legal Citation Manual.
Nice To Haves
- A background in both legal systems is an asset.
