About The Position

This is a research assistant position focusing on language rights in Canada and Ontario. The role requires in-depth knowledge of Canada’s constitutional framework for official languages and relevant case law. Proficiency in legal research tools and the McGill Guide, along with excellent legal writing skills in both French and English, are essential. This position also involves work during the fall term, and applicants must also apply to the fall posting (no. JR38552). All University of Ottawa employees are required under provincial law to successfully complete all mandatory legislated training offered by the University. The list of training requirements may be modified by provincial law.
