This is a full-time research assistant position in the Vanderbilt Psychiatric Neuromodulation Lab, focusing on neuromodulation interventions for substance use and psychotic disorders. The role involves recruiting research subjects, assisting investigators with data collection and analysis, and specifically working on a randomized controlled trial of repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS) for nicotine dependence in individuals with schizophrenia and healthy controls. The position requires a strong interest in working with individuals experiencing psychosis and nicotine dependence, excellent organizational and data management skills, and a desire to contribute to research in mental health, interventional psychiatry, neuromodulation, psychosis, addiction, and clinical trials. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, capable of working independently, and possesses strong interpersonal skills, organization, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
