About The Position

The Ibanez Lab serves as Fluid Biomarker Core for The Dominantly Inherited Alzheimer Network (DIAN) Trials Unit and Observational Study. The ultimate goal is to be able to understand Alzheimer's Disease preclinical phases to treat this disease before onset. The lab is seeking a Research Technician who will be involved in the the primary prevention trial aliquoting and biomarker data generation. Assists with laboratory duties in a research setting; performs routine tests with direction from the supervisor, manager or higher-level technician.

Responsibilities

  • Assists the investigator or higher-level technician with research studies, experiments and assays, including collection of data, preparation of solutions and setup and maintenance of equipment.
  • Trial aliquoting and biomarker data generation.
  • Maintains files on research and assists with data entry.
  • Assists with general lab maintenance and cleaning.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
