The Girls’ Lives Online project in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry at WashU School of Medicine is seeking to hire a dedicated Clinical Research Coordinator I to join and amplify their growing research team. The team is devoted to improving the outcomes of preteens with mental health concerns and driven by a mission to enhance understanding of the role of social media in preteen health and development. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a team that is transforming the landscape of preteen mental health—the results from this project may help better understand how social media impacts mental health and development. The role involves assisting the Principal Investigators in a moderately complex longitudinal study that includes clinical interviews and behavioral assessment. The coordinator may be responsible for several projects simultaneously, acting as a liaison with the sponsoring agency, community, and study participants, and managing and recording all phases of study protocol to ensure compliance. This position is primarily in-person, with the possibility of one remote day per week, depending on study needs. The successful candidate will play an integral role in coordinating the research team, contacting and maintaining communication with research participants, and managing the day-to-day aspects of the study, requiring close collaboration with investigators and research staff.
