About The Position

Amyx is seeking a Requirements Manager to document capabilities agreed upon by users and present them to software developers so the resulting application meets operators’ requirements. The analyst serves as the primary intermediary between the customer and development team throughout a project’s life cycle, ensuring requirements reflect end users’ needs and that the capability being developed conforms to those requirements. The role identifies and prioritizes system requirements and documents them in a software requirements specification, including use cases and non-functional requirements such as quality standards and design constraints. The analyst may use graphic models, mathematical equations, or storyboards to capture requirements, and develops a requirements management plan that includes a change control process. The role also tracks requirements from baseline through final verification of functionality and participates in peer reviews and reviews of system design, code, and test cases. The position requires a bachelor’s degree, a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent, five years of relevant experience, and an IT-II Non-Critical Sensitive security clearance or Tier 3 (T3) at the time of proposal submission. The listed salary range is $80,000–$120,000. Physical demands include extended periods at a workstation and using a desktop or laptop, communicating verbally and in writing, and occasional lifting or moving of items typically weighing less than 20 pounds. Regular and predictable attendance is essential.

Requirements

Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
Five years of relevant experience.
IT-II Non-Critical Sensitive security clearance or Tier 3 (T3) at the time of proposal submission.
Ability to communicate accurate information.
Ability to sit at a workstation for extended periods and use a desktop or laptop computer for extended periods.
Ability to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls and reach with hands and arms.
Ability to talk and hear and communicate effectively with others verbally and in writing.
Ability to occasionally lift and/or move moderate amounts of weight, typically less than 20 pounds.
Regular and predictable attendance.

Responsibilities

Interview users during the software development lifecycle planning phase to understand desired software outcomes.
Document user-agreed capabilities and present them to software developers to ensure applications meet operators’ requirements.
Identify operational and application requirements for normal system functions and error handling by communicating with organizational stakeholders.
Identify and prioritize system requirements and document them in a software requirements specification.
Document use cases and non-functional requirements, including quality standards and design constraints.
Create graphic models, mathematical equations, or storyboards to record system requirements.
Communicate with project stakeholders about test results and changes to end-product requirements.
Act as the primary intermediary between the customer and development team throughout a project’s life cycle.
Confirm that requirements reflect end users’ needs and that the capability being developed reflects the requirements.
Participate in peer reviews and reviews of system design, code, and test cases to confirm adherence to documented requirements.
Develop a requirements management plan incorporating a change control process.
Track individual requirements from baseline through final verification of functionality following software development.
Communicate accurate information.
