About The Position

The mission of all Tops associates is to adhere to the Tops vision of providing a friendly neighborhood store that saves the customer time and money. The Payroll Representative is responsible for all payroll related functions and supports a fast-paced payroll department. Serves as first contact for all employee pay-related questions.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High School or High School equivalent required
• Must be proficient in a PC environment (MS Word/ Excel/Outlook a plus)
• Strong communication skills- both written and verbal
• Strong attention to detail; planning & organizational skills
• Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality

Nice To Haves

• One - two years of administrative experience, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare weekly in-house payroll.
• Ensure payroll is processed in compliance with federal and state laws, and the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
• Respond to employee payroll inquiries.
• Run and administer weekly warehouse reporting.
• Handle accounting/reporting functions.
• Process warehouse office supply orders.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
