About The Position

A Repairs Shaver and Hand Sewing Clerk restores garments to their intended quality and appearance. The work involves repairing a variety of garment damage using hand-sewing techniques and/or sweater shaving, with a sense of urgency to complete repairs in a timely manner. The role is based at 1300 South Dean Avenue, Raymore, Missouri. Available shifts are Sunday through Wednesday, 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., or Monday through Friday, 5:30 p.m. to 2:00 a.m.

The clerk must follow work instructions and meet productivity and quality standards while maintaining an organized workspace, a positive attitude, and flexibility. The position requires standing and walking throughout the shift, handling objects weighing up to 50 pounds, and safely operating warehouse equipment as required. Overtime may be required.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must have hand-sewing experience or training.
• Must pass a sewing/shaving test.
• Comprehend and follow work instructions to meet productivity and quality standards.
• Work well under pressure and time constraints.
• Be dependable and work with a sense of urgency.
• Maintain acceptable attendance and be able to work overtime as required.
• Stand and walk throughout a shift.
• Climb, balance, kneel, crouch, or crawl for extended periods.
• Reach, pull, push, and lift freight and other objects of various shapes, sizes, and weights up to 50 pounds.
• Operate warehouse equipment safely as required, such as a pallet jack, box cutter, or carts, using coordinated movements.

Nice To Haves
