About The Position
Mustang Rental Services is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Rental Yard Coordinator for its Katy, Texas location. The coordinator stages and organizes rental equipment to support efficient pickups and returns by haul drivers, while supporting delivery logistics, equipment readiness, and yard cleanliness.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledge of operating construction equipment and machine checkpoints.
- Experience in material handling, equipment movement, or yard logistics.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Familiarity with electronic systems and equipment tracking.
- Strong problem-solving skills and professional communication.
- Organized, safety-minded, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Stage and organize rental equipment in the yard for pickup and return by haul drivers.
- Verify equipment paperwork and ensure haul drivers load the correct units.
- Assist with loading and unloading equipment for customer deliveries and returns.
- Direct drivers to locations for dropping off returned equipment.
- Perform rental check-ins as equipment arrives.
- Keep the yard and equipment clean and orderly.
- Support wash rack duties and machine preparation.
- Audit rent-ready machines and maintain the status of yard equipment inventory.
