About The Position

The Rental Yard Coordinator is responsible for organizing and managing the movement of equipment in the yard. The role operates heavy equipment to load and unload new, used, and customer equipment arriving at or leaving the yard. It also handles receiving and transferring attachments and completing monthly attachment inventory checks.

The coordinator logs trucks and equipment movements, checks in rental and customer machines, and cleans, fuels, and inspects machines. The role also helps maintain outside facilities, organizes equipment in the yard, cuts the yard with a mower, and inventories yard equipment. Additional duties include inspecting forklifts, monitoring and recording oil tank levels monthly, delivering parts to customers and other branches, and participating in required safety programs.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of how to operate heavy equipment.
• Clean driving record.
• Basic computer skills, including email, internet, and basic data entry.

• Mechanical aptitude, organization, and ability to operate different types of heavy equipment.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload machines and attachments from lowboy trailers.
• Log all incoming and exiting trucks that come onto the yard.
• Record shipping and receiving of machines and attachments in the tracking system.
• Check in heavy rentals and customer machines.
• Clean, fuel, and perform pre- and post-inspections on machines.
• Maintain outside facilities, organize machines on the yard, and cut the yard with a mower.
• Inventory equipment in the yard.
• Perform forklift inspections.
• Monitor and record oil levels in tanks monthly.
• Deliver parts to customers and other branch locations.
• Participate in required safety programs and work safely.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager.
