About The Position

White Cap is hiring a Rental Yard Associate to help prepare and maintain rental equipment for customers. The role involves cleaning, inspecting, lubricating, and staging equipment and rental orders while following company safety procedures. White Cap is a North American distributor serving professional contractors and construction projects.

Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds in a physical environment.
• Ability to stand for periods of time up to and exceeding 60 minutes.

Nice To Haves

• Forklift experience.
• Knowledge of construction and industrial products.
• Spanish language proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Remove dirt, concrete, and other debris from rental equipment and the work area using provided hand tools and cleaning equipment.
• Ensure rental equipment is in good, usable condition before it goes to the customer.
• Inspect rental equipment for damage and report damage according to established procedures.
• Oil and lubricate tools, equipment, and tilt-up braces according to specifications.
• Prepare and stage rental orders for delivery.
• Follow company safety policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
