About The Position

White Cap is hiring a Rental Yard Associate to prepare and maintain rental equipment for customer use and delivery. The associate cleans equipment and the surrounding area, checks equipment condition, reports damage, lubricates tools and equipment, and stages rental orders. The role follows company safety policies and includes physical work.

Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand for periods of up to and exceeding 60 minutes.

Nice To Haves

• Forklift experience.
• Knowledge of construction and industrial products.
• Spanish language proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Remove dirt, concrete, and other debris from rental equipment and the area using provided hand tools and cleaning equipment.
• Ensure rental equipment is in good, usable condition before it goes to the customer.
• Inspect rental equipment for damage and report any damage according to established procedures.
• Oil and lubricate tools, equipment, and tilt-up braces according to specifications.
• Prepare and stage rental orders for delivery.
• Follow company safety policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
