Rental Yard Associate
About The Position
White Cap is hiring a Rental Yard Associate to prepare and maintain rental equipment for customers. The role includes cleaning equipment and the rental area, checking equipment condition and reporting damage, lubricating tools and equipment, and preparing rental orders for delivery. The associate follows company safety policies and procedures and performs other duties as assigned. The position involves physical work, including lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds and standing for periods of up to and exceeding 60 minutes. Generally, 0–2 years of experience is associated with the role.
Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds in a physical environment.
- Ability to stand for periods of up to and exceeding 60 minutes.

- Forklift experience.
- Knowledge of construction and industrial products.
- Spanish language proficiency.
Responsibilities
- Remove dirt, concrete, and other debris from rental equipment and the area using provided hand tools and cleaning equipment.
- Ensure rental equipment is in good, usable condition before it goes out to customers.
- Inspect rental equipment for damage and report any damage according to established procedures.
- Oil and lubricate tools, equipment, and tilt-up braces according to specifications.
- Prepare and stage rental orders for delivery.
- Follow company safety policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
