Rental Shop Attendant
About The Position
The Rental Shop Attendant provides customer service and distributes properly fitted and adjusted ski and snowboard rental equipment. The role includes sizing boots, skis, poles, and snowboards, adjusting bindings and snowboard stance, removing snow, cleaning the Rental Shop, and providing resort information. The position requires working outdoors, standing for extended periods, and repeatedly lifting 10 or more pounds during a shift. It is seasonal, with varied schedules that may include mornings, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays, and offers 16 to 40 hours per week. Compensation is $12.77.
Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years of age.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- Legible handwriting.
- Basic math ability.
- Comfortable working outdoors and standing for extended periods.
- Able to consistently lift 10 or more pounds throughout the shift.
- Current rental binding certifications required; training is provided.

Responsibilities
- Provide guests with properly sized ski or snowboard boots.
- Size skis and adjust bindings.
- Determine the correct snowboard length and appropriate binding stance for guests.
- Provide guests with correctly sized ski poles.
- Sweep floors and assist with general Rental Shop cleaning.
- Remove snow from walkways around the Rental Shop and Ski Office.
- Perform repetitive adjustments and distribution of rental equipment.
- Provide resort information.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
