About The Position

Massanutten Resort is hiring a seasonal Rental Shop Attendant. The role requires excellent customer service skills, basic computer skills, legible handwriting, and basic math ability. Attendants must be comfortable working outdoors, standing for extended periods, and consistently lifting 10 or more pounds throughout the shift. The position requires current rental binding certifications; training is provided. Applicants must be at least 16 years old.

Attendants provide guests with properly fitted and adjusted ski and snowboard rental equipment, share resort information, remove snow, and help maintain a clean and safe work environment. The schedule varies and may include mornings, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. Hours range from 16 to 40 per week. Pay is $12.77.

Responsibilities

• Provide guests with properly sized ski or snowboard boots.
• Size skis and adjust bindings.
• Determine the correct snowboard length and appropriate binding stance for each guest.
• Provide guests with correctly sized ski poles.
• Sweep floors and assist with general cleaning of the Rental Shop.
• Remove snow from walkways around the Rental Shop and Ski Office.
• Perform repetitive adjustments and distribution of rental equipment.
• Provide resort information and help maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
