About The Position

Pape’ Rents is seeking a Rental Field Mechanic to work on material handling and construction equipment in the field. The mechanic ensures repairs are completed accurately and on time to maximize equipment uptime and support customers’ rental equipment needs. The role involves traveling around the area in a fully equipped Pape’ service vehicle, repairing equipment, and interacting with customers. Requirements

Knowledge of JLG, Genie, and other AWP equipment, with the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot.
Strong mechanical aptitude.
Experience with electronic and hydraulic repairs.
Experience repairing diesel and gas engines.
Basic computer knowledge.
Excellent communication and customer relations skills.
Must provide own tools.
Must be able to push, pull, and/or lift up to 75 pounds.
Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
Must be comfortable working at heights.
Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug test.

Aerial equipment experience.
