About The Position

Insituform Technologies LLC, an Azuria Water Solutions company, is hiring a Heavy Equipment - Field Mechanic in Johnston, Rhode Island. The mechanic will maintain the company’s fleet and specialty equipment, including trucks and heavy equipment, and will travel frequently to project sites across New England. Starting pay is $30.00–$40.00 per hour, depending on experience. A limited-time sign-on bonus of up to $4,000 is available to qualified new hires with a valid CDL; reduced bonuses may be available to new hires without a current CDL, subject to the program’s criteria. The role includes paid on-the-job training, benefits, tuition assistance, paid time off, overtime pay, and company-provided personal protective equipment and safety gear.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of mechanic experience, including experience with heavy equipment, hydraulics, pneumatics, or related areas.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Comfort using diagnostic tools and online systems, and performing mechanical troubleshooting.
• Willingness and ability to travel frequently.
• Ability to regularly lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift up to 70 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• CDL Class A or B.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, perform preventive maintenance on, and repair trucks and heavy equipment.
• Work with hydraulic systems, high-pressure water pumps, electrical components, and other equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and maintain accurate maintenance logs.
• Keep the workspace and tools safe, clean, and organized.
• Travel frequently to project sites across New England.
