About The Position

Pape’ Rents is seeking a Rental Field Technician to repair material handling and construction equipment in the field. The technician will ensure repairs are completed accurately and promptly to maximize equipment uptime and support customers’ rental equipment needs. The role involves traveling in a company service vehicle, performing equipment repairs, and interacting with customers. Pape’ provides training, resources, mentoring, and support to help technicians develop their skills and careers.

Requirements

• Knowledge of JLG, Genie, and other aerial work platform (AWP) equipment, with the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Experience with electronic and hydraulic repairs, and diesel and gas engine repair.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Excellent communication and customer relations skills.
• Must provide own tools.
• Must be able to push, pull, and/or lift up to 75 pounds.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Must be comfortable working at heights.
• Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug test.
