About The Position
Mustang Cat is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Rental Coordinator to join our team in Northwest Houston. In this role, you will serve as a key point of contact for customers, coordinating equipment rentals from initial inquiry through billing while ensuring a positive customer experience and supporting efficient branch operations. Requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong customer service and relationship-building abilities
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Mechanical aptitude and the ability to understand equipment applications and customer needs
Nice To Haves
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Previous experience in equipment rental, construction, heavy equipment, or related industries
- Knowledge of Caterpillar (CAT) equipment and applications
- Understanding of equipment applications within construction, industrial, or commercial markets
Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day rental process, ensuring customers receive the right equipment, on time and with outstanding service.
- Assist customers by phone, email, and in person to identify equipment solutions that meet their rental needs
- Prepare quotes, process rental agreements, and coordinate rental transactions from start to finish
- Coordinate customer requests and ensure timely fulfillment of rental orders
- Schedule and dispatch transportation for equipment deliveries, transfers, and returns
- Utilize internal systems and resources to verify equipment availability and coordinate rentals efficiently
- Monitor rental contracts, billing, and documentation for accuracy and completeness
- Build strong customer relationships by providing responsive, professional service
- Work closely with operations, service, and other branch personnel to maximize equipment utilization and customer satisfaction
