About The Position
Wheeler Machinery Co. is seeking a Rental Coordinator for our Salt Lake City, Ut location. To effectively rent Caterpillar and allied equipment. This full-time benefited position will be responsible for facilitating the rental and sales needs of current and prospective customers. The incumbent will possess the ability to multi-task, remain extremely organized and be able to develop relationships with both internal and external customers.
Requirements
- Math, reading, writing, and typing skills
- Flexible with the ability to perform a wide range of tasks
- Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Responsibilities
- Receive and make calls, answer questions, quote rates and sale prices.
- Assist customers in choosing correct equipment models and sizes for application and jobsite requirements.
- Maintain a proactive / creative attitude to increase rental sales activity.
- Ensure accurate and timely rental transactions: setting rental rates, invoicing, insurance verification, machine, and work tool configuration.
- Schedule / coordinate equipment transportation.
- Update rental transactions and contract information in Dealer Business System.
- Coordinate / schedule maintenance and repairs with Service Department.
- Investigate and resolve customer issues with equipment deliveries, repairs, billing and other related items.
- Assist outside Sales Representatives as necessary.
- Ensure that safety practices are a part of everyone's daily routine.
