About The Position

The Renovations Technician performs renovation and demolition work for Tandem Living. Duties include planning projects, obtaining necessary materials, and completing general and skilled carpentry work in accordance with Tandem Living standards and applicable federal, state, and local codes. The position is performed in accordance with Tandem Living’s Core Values, Mission Statement, and regulations. The schedule is 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM and includes an on-call rotation.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Additional training in kitchen and bathroom demolition, flooring installation, and flooring removal is required.
• Valid Pennsylvania driver’s license and at least two consecutive years of driving experience required.

Responsibilities

• Complete renovation and demolition tasks, including planning projects and obtaining necessary materials.
• Perform general and skilled carpentry work in accordance with company standards and applicable codes.
• Deliver high-quality carpentry and renovation services efficiently and effectively.
• Use working knowledge and skills in carpentry, HVAC, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems and equipment.
• Complete work orders, minor renovation projects, and preventive maintenance tasks in a timely manner.
• Maintain and repair doors, door hardware, locks and keys, and windows.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with residents and/or their family members regarding maintenance work.
