The Otipemisiwak Métis Government is recruiting for a Renewable Energy Project Manager to join the Environment and Climate Change Department. Reporting to the Senior Manger – Climate and Sustainability, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing leadership and oversight to the department’s renewable energy and energy management initiatives under the MNA Climate Change Action Plan, supporting the design and implementation while ensuring alignment with organizational priorities. The position is central to advancing the Otipemisiwak Métis Government’s emissions reduction targets and expanding renewable energy portfolio, including solar projects at Otipemisiwak Métis Government-owned facilities, as well as community and utility scale projects, and supporting related sustainability projects, including energy management and efficiency efforts. As a key member of the leadership team, the Project Manager fosters a collaborative and high-performing environment. The successful candidate will be an organized individual who thrives in a busy environment, communicates well with multiple stakeholders, and can effectively originate, fund, lead the construction, operation and expansion of a portfolio of renewable energy assets.
