About The Position
AO Globe Life is hiring a remote Policy Services Rep to support clients interested in supplemental benefits. The role involves virtual consultations, presenting benefit options, guiding clients through enrollment, and maintaining ongoing client relationships. It is described as a 100% remote independent contractor opportunity with commission-based, performance-driven compensation rather than hourly or salaried pay. The position is suited to self-motivated, coachable people who are comfortable working independently and interested in professional growth. Training, mentorship, licensing guidance, and ongoing professional development are provided. Candidates must obtain the appropriate state Life & Health Insurance License before conducting licensed insurance activities. Required pre-licensing coursework, examinations, and state licensing requirements are at the candidate’s expense. Specific licensing requirements, fees, compensation, and contractor terms may vary by state and will be reviewed during hiring and onboarding.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age and legally eligible to work in the United States.
- Have a reliable high-speed internet connection and provide a computer or laptop with a webcam.
- Provide a professional remote workspace.
- Obtain the appropriate state Life & Health Insurance License before conducting licensed insurance activities.
- Complete applicable pre-licensing coursework, examinations, and state licensing requirements at the candidate’s expense.
- Have a self-starter mindset and strong organizational skills.
- Have excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Be confident using virtual meetings and everyday digital tools.
- Be self-motivated, coachable, and comfortable working independently.
