About The Position

DuPont Community Credit Union (DCCU) is seeking enthusiastic and driven individuals to join their service center team as a Remote Member Representative. This position is designed to be fully remote after the successful completion of onsite training in Waynesboro, Virginia. DCCU aims to help members achieve financial success by aligning them with the right products and services. This role is ideal for someone passionate about serving others and helping them achieve their financial goals.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Exceptional communication skills with an emphasis on professional and effective telephone skills.
  • High aptitude for detailed work, accuracy, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Ability to work effectively as a team member, contributing to goals while promoting a positive environment.
  • Flexibility, initiative, and strong regard for confidential and sensitive information.
  • Demonstrated strong self-management, including prioritizing tasks, maintaining productivity in a remote environment, and meeting deadlines.
  • Desire to develop and grow in their career.
  • Required minimum home internet speed of 35 Mbps.

Nice To Haves

  • Oral and written fluency in Spanish and English are preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional service to members through telephone inquiries regarding deposit and loan accounts.
  • Participate in a dedicated career development plan to advance knowledge and skills for full-service member experiences.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor by building strong relationships and acting in the best interests of members.
  • Inform, educate, and advise members on DCCU's products and services that contribute to their financial health.
  • Execute member requests such as transfers, withdrawals, payments, debit and credit card inquiries, direct deposit transactions, and stop payments.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to various electronic channels.
