About The Position

Monkey Wrench Plumbing, Heating, Air & Electric is seeking a Remote Marketing & Operations Assistant to support the Marketing Manager. This role involves managing projects, ensuring deadlines are met, and facilitating communication. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and capable of owning recurring tasks, identifying potential issues, and providing support across various business areas. This position offers the opportunity to utilize organizational skills, enhance marketing support abilities, and contribute to the smooth daily operation of the business.

Requirements

Proven marketing experience with measurable results and a history of delivering impactful marketing outcomes.
Extremely organized with strong attention to detail.
A proactive doer and problem solver who finds solutions instead of waiting for step-by-step instructions.
Able to manage recurring responsibilities independently and meet deadlines without reminders.
Excellent written English and communication skills.
Strong Google Workspace and Google Sheets skills (including formulas and professional formatting).
Comfortable using Canva for basic design work.
Resourceful and confident using technology, AI, and other tools to figure things out.
Produces polished, accurate work that’s ready for leadership review.
Adaptable and reliable in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
Able to work independently when the manager is unavailable.

Responsibilities

Manage recurring weekly and monthly tasks, reports, and deadlines.
Maintain project and task lists, following up to ensure nothing slips through the cracks.
Support social listening and engagement, including interacting with relevant local accounts and responding to social media messages.
Assist with projects across Marketing, Customer Care, Operations, and other business areas as needed.
