About The Position

AO is seeking motivated, service-oriented professionals to join our growing virtual team as Remote Insurance Benefits Representatives. In this role, you'll meet with individuals and families through scheduled Zoom and phone appointments, help them understand available life, accident, and supplemental health insurance benefits, identify their needs, and guide them through appropriate coverage options. This position combines customer service, benefits education, relationship building, and consultative insurance sales in a fully remote environment. No previous insurance experience is required. We provide training, mentorship, licensing guidance, and ongoing professional development to help motivated candidates build the skills needed to succeed.

Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Be physically located within the United States
  • Be legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Hold or be willing and eligible to obtain the appropriate state Life & Health Insurance License
  • Have access to a computer or laptop
  • Maintain reliable high-speed internet
  • Have webcam and microphone capability

  • Be comfortable meeting with clients virtually

Responsibilities

  • Conduct scheduled virtual consultations through Zoom and phone
  • Connect with individuals interested in learning about available benefits
  • Listen to clients and identify individual and family protection needs
  • Explain life, accident, and supplemental health insurance options
  • Answer questions about benefits, coverage, and policy features
  • Help clients evaluate available options and make informed decisions
  • Provide personalized, needs-based coverage recommendations
  • Guide clients through applications and enrollment
  • Assist with required documentation
  • Review existing coverage and discuss appropriate updates when needed
  • Support clients through policy reviews, beneficiary updates, coverage questions, policy and account service requests, claims-related guidance, changes in family protection needs, and follow-up communication.
  • Build relationships based on professionalism, trust, education, and consistent service.
