About The Position

AO is seeking motivated, service-oriented professionals to join our growing virtual team as Remote Insurance Benefits Representatives. You'll meet with individuals and families through scheduled virtual appointments, help them understand available life, accident, and supplemental health benefits, and provide ongoing service throughout the client relationship. Whether you're beginning a new career, transitioning from another industry, or bringing experience in customer service or sales, we provide the training, mentorship, and professional development needed to help you succeed. No previous insurance experience is required. AO operates within the American Income Division of Globe Life and has a long history of serving working families across North America. We work with individuals and families, including members of labor unions, credit unions, associations, and other groups, helping them understand supplemental insurance benefits designed to provide additional financial protection. Be comfortable communicating with clients virtually
Be willing to complete required training
Hold or be willing to obtain the appropriate state Life & Health Insurance License

Responsibilities

Meet with clients through scheduled Zoom and phone appointments
Identify individual and family coverage needs
Explain available life, accident, and supplemental health insurance options
Answer questions about policy features, benefits, and coverage
Help clients evaluate available options and make informed decisions
Assist with applications, enrollment, and required documentation
Review existing coverage and discuss appropriate updates when needed
Build long-term relationships through professional, personalized service
Provide ongoing assistance after enrollment
Respond to client questions and service requests
Maintain consistent follow-up communication
Keep accurate digital client records and documentation
Deliver a positive client experience from initial consultation through ongoing service
Participate in structured virtual onboarding and training
Attend ongoing coaching and professional development sessions
Strengthen communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
Develop knowledge of products, systems, and industry requirements
Collaborate with a supportive remote team
Maintain professional and regulatory standards
