About The Position

Signature Retail Services is hiring a full-time, project-based Travel Remodel Team Lead to oversee fixture installation crews completing large-scale retail remodels and store transformations for retailers including Home Depot, Lowe's, and Ace Hardware. The role involves leading a crew, coordinating project work, and ensuring remodels are performed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and according to client specifications. The position is based on regional travel, with weekly travel throughout the assigned region and surrounding states; employees are home most weekends. Project schedules include overnight shifts. The work is physically active and includes installing, relocating, adjusting, and dismantling retail fixtures and displays. The Team Lead also reviews plans and merchandising instructions, coaches crew members, communicates with store management and project leadership, and completes project documentation using company-provided technology. Company-paid hotels and airfare, per diem, and mileage and drive-time reimbursement are provided; room sharing applies at hotels. The role requires a valid driver's license, a reliable personal vehicle, active auto insurance, and authorization to work in the U.S. Employment is contingent on required pre-employment screenings, which may include a background check and motor vehicle record review. Requirements

Must be at least 21 years old and authorized to work in the United States.
Valid driver's license, reliable personal vehicle, and proof of active auto insurance.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to read project plans, store layouts, and merchandising instructions.
Strong mechanical aptitude and experience using hand and power tools.
Comfortable training and coaching team members in a fast-paced environment.
Comfortable using smartphones, tablets, and web-based reporting systems.
Able to stand, walk, bend, lift, climb ladders, and remain active throughout overnight shifts.
Able to regularly lift, move, and handle products, fixtures, and materials weighing up to 50+ lbs.
Comfortable working in fast-paced remodel environments with overnight project schedules.
Able to travel 100% weekly throughout the assigned region and surrounding states.
Must complete required pre-employment screenings, which may include a background check and motor vehicle record review.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience leading teams in retail remodel, fixture installation, construction, warehouse, or related environments.
Forklift, scissor lift, or OSHA certifications.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise Fixture Installers during large-scale retail remodels and store transformations.
Coordinate daily project activities to ensure work is completed safely, accurately, and on schedule.
Install, relocate, adjust, and dismantle steel fixtures, cantilevers, shelving, pallet racking, and displays.
Review project plans, store layouts, and merchandising specifications with team members.
Train, coach, and mentor crew members while maintaining productivity and quality standards.
Serve as the primary point of contact between store management, project leadership, and field teams.
Identify and resolve project challenges while maintaining a positive and professional work environment.
Ensure compliance with company safety policies and client requirements.
Safely operate hand tools, power tools, forklifts, and scissor lifts; training is provided.
Complete project documentation, reporting, and communication using company-provided technology.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Complete other job-related instructions and tasks as directed by management.
