(CSR) Remodel Fixture Installer- Glendale, AZ
About The Position
Signature Retail Services is hiring a full-time, project-based Travel Fixture Installer for its regional remodel team. The position involves weekly travel throughout an assigned region and surrounding states to help remodel major home improvement retailers, including Home Depot, Lowe's, and Ace Hardware. Installers work with a remodel crew on store remodels, fixture installations, department resets, and other retail transformation projects. Employees are home most weekends. This is a physically active, fast-paced role with overnight project schedules. Work includes installing, relocating, adjusting, and dismantling retail fixtures and displays; rebuilding departments; and setting products and signage according to planograms and project specifications. Travel costs include company-paid hotels and airfare, with room sharing applying, as well as per diem, mileage, and drive-time reimbursement. The role uses hand and power tools, ladders, forklifts, scissor lifts, and web-based handheld devices. Forklift training is provided.
Requirements
- Be at least 21 years old and authorized to work in the United States.
- Have a valid driver's license, reliable personal vehicle, and proof of active auto insurance.
- Be able to travel weekly throughout the assigned region and surrounding states; employees are home most weekends.
- Have strong mechanical knowledge and be able to safely operate hand and power tools, including drills, screwdrivers, tape measures, and box cutters.
- Have strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a team setting or independently.
- Be comfortable using a smartphone for communication, scheduling, and in-store reporting.
- Be able to stand, walk, bend, lift, climb ladders, and remain active throughout overnight shifts.
- Regularly lift, move, and handle products, fixtures, and materials weighing up to 50+ lbs.
- Be comfortable working in fast-paced remodel environments with overnight project schedules.
- Complete required pre-employment screenings, which may include a background check, motor vehicle record review, and employment eligibility verification.
Nice To Haves
- Forklift or OSHA certification; not required, and training is provided.
- Background in retail, remodel construction, carpentry, warehouse operations, fixture installation, remodel merchandising, general labor, or other hands-on trades.
Responsibilities
- Execute large-scale retail remodels and store resets.
- Install, relocate, adjust, and dismantle steel fixtures, cantilevers, shelving, pallet racking, and displays.
- Support department teardowns, rebuilds, and merchandising projects.
- Set products, signage, and displays according to planograms and project specifications.
- Safely operate hand tools, power tools, ladders, forklifts, and scissor lifts.
- Maintain quality, safety, and productivity standards throughout each project.
- Work with teammates, project leaders, and store management to complete projects on schedule.
- Complete in-store reporting using web-based handheld devices.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Complete other job-related instructions and tasks as directed by management.
