About The Position
Signature Retail Services is hiring a Travel Fixture Installer for its Remodel Team. The role involves weekly regional travel and hands-on work on large-scale remodels at major home improvement retailers, including Home Depot, Lowe's, and Ace Hardware. Installers work with a professional remodel crew on fixture installations, department resets, and retail transformations. The position is project-based, with employees typically home most weekends. Overnight project schedules are required. The role includes company-paid hotels and airfare, per diem, and mileage and drive-time reimbursement. Hotel room sharing applies. Candidates with experience in remodel construction, carpentry, fixture installation, construction remodel merchandising, or other hands-on trades are encouraged to apply. Training is provided for forklift or OSHA certification. Employment is contingent on completing applicable pre-employment screenings, which may include a background check and motor vehicle record review.
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old and authorized to work in the United States.
- Valid driver's license, reliable personal vehicle, and proof of active auto insurance.
- Ability to travel weekly throughout the assigned region and surrounding states; employees are home most weekends.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to safely operate hand and power tools, including drills, screwdrivers, tape measures, and box cutters.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a team setting or independently.
- Comfort using a smartphone for communication, scheduling, and in-store reporting.
- Ability to work overnight project schedules in fast-paced remodel environments.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, climb ladders, and remain active throughout overnight shifts.
- Ability to regularly lift, move, and handle products, fixtures, and materials weighing up to 50+ pounds.
- Successful completion of applicable pre-employment requirements, which may include background checks, motor vehicle record review, and employment eligibility verification.

Responsibilities
- Perform hands-on work on large-scale remodels, fixture installations, and department resets.
- Install, relocate, adjust, and dismantle steel fixtures, cantilevers, shelving, pallet racking, and displays.
- Support department teardowns, rebuilds, and merchandising projects.
- Set products, signage, and displays according to planograms and project specifications.
- Safely operate hand tools, power tools, ladders, and heavy equipment.
- Maintain quality, safety, and productivity standards throughout each project.
- Work with teammates, project leaders, and store management to complete projects on schedule.
- Complete in-store reporting using web-based handheld devices.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Complete other job-related instructions and tasks as directed by management.
