About The Position

Signature Retail Services is hiring a full-time, project-based Remodel Team Lead for its regional retail remodel team. The role leads Fixture Installers on large-scale remodels and store transformations at retailers including Home Depot, Lowe’s, and Ace Hardware. The Team Lead coordinates project execution and ensures work is performed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and to client specifications. The position involves installing and handling retail fixtures and displays, coaching team members, communicating with store management and project leadership, and completing project documentation using company-provided technology. The role requires 100% weekly travel throughout an assigned region and surrounding states, with employees home most weekends. Company-paid hotels and airfare, per diem, and mileage and drive-time reimbursement are provided. Overnight project schedules are expected; hotel room sharing applies. The work is physically active and includes standing, walking, bending, lifting, climbing ladders, and handling materials weighing 50 pounds or more. Pay is $22.00–$25.00 per hour, based on experience.

Requirements

Must be at least 21 years old and authorized to work in the United States.
Valid driver's license, reliable personal vehicle, and proof of active auto insurance.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to read project plans, store layouts, and merchandising instructions.
Strong mechanical aptitude and experience using hand and power tools.
Comfortable training and coaching team members in a fast-paced environment.
Comfortable using smartphones, tablets, and web-based reporting systems.
Able to stand, walk, bend, lift, climb ladders, and remain active throughout overnight shifts.
Able to regularly lift, move, and handle products, fixtures, and materials weighing 50 pounds or more.
Comfortable working in fast-paced remodel environments with overnight project schedules.
Available for 100% weekly travel throughout the assigned region and surrounding states.
Must maintain a valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and active auto insurance.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience leading teams in retail remodel, fixture installation, construction, warehouse, or related environments.
Forklift, scissor lift, or OSHA certifications.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise Fixture Installers during retail remodels and store transformations.
Coordinate daily project activities to ensure work is safe, accurate, and on schedule.
Install, relocate, adjust, and dismantle steel fixtures, cantilevers, shelving, pallet racking, and displays.
Review project plans, store layouts, and merchandising specifications with team members.
Train, coach, and mentor crew members while maintaining productivity and quality standards.
Serve as the primary point of contact between store management, project leadership, and field teams.
Identify and resolve project challenges while maintaining a positive and professional work environment.
Ensure compliance with company safety policies and client requirements.
Safely operate hand tools, power tools, forklifts, and scissor lifts; training is provided.
Complete project documentation, reporting, and communication using company-provided technology.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Complete other job-related instructions and tasks as directed by management.
