Remodel Merchandiser
About The Position
SPAR is hiring a Remodel Merchandiser for its overnight reset and remodel merchandising team. The role involves working as part of a team remodeling the interiors of big-box retail stores, including category resets and fixture installation. Merchandisers build, assemble, and install shelving and fixtures, and work with planograms to ensure items are tagged and approved by store management. The position is based on ongoing project work, with additional projects beginning as others end. Applicants must live within 45 miles of Alamosa, Colorado. The schedule is 10 PM to 7 AM, Sunday through Thursday, and pay is $20 per hour. The work involves considerable physical activity, including standing for an eight-hour shift and lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds. Steel-toed footwear is required on the job site. SPAR describes the ideal candidate as self-sufficient, highly motivated, comfortable using basic tools, and able to produce high-quality results in a fast-paced environment. Requirements
- Ability to stand for a minimum shift of eight hours.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to take direction regarding tagging, rotating, and placing products on shelves.
- Ability and willingness to work the overnight shift.
- Knowledge of or ability to use basic tools necessary for the job.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
