1099 Contractor - Remediation
About The Position
Superior Contracting & Maintenance is seeking an experienced 1099 contractor specializing in property damage remediation to join their contractor network. This role involves independently managing remediation projects, providing repair and restoration services, evaluating property damage, creating remediation plans, coordinating with stakeholders, and completing restoration work to Superior's quality standards. Superior Contracting & Maintenance has over 13 years of experience and a strong reputation for offering comprehensive maintenance and turnkey services including roofing, gutters, siding, painting, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, flooring, and renovations.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in property repair and damage remediation
- Active General Liability Insurance
- Solid knowledge of remediation procedures, safety requirements, and industry best practices
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and effectively with different teams
- Demonstrated ability to manage project schedules, timelines, and budgets
- Must have the required tools and dependable transportation
- Must currently reside and perform work within the United States
Responsibilities
- Assess property damage and create remediation plans based on the specific needs of each project
- Work closely with project managers and clients to maintain clear communication and ensure project expectations are aligned
- Coordinate and oversee work crews or subcontractors when needed to keep projects moving efficiently
- Monitor project schedules, budgets, and workmanship to support successful and timely completion
- Follow applicable safety procedures and established industry best practices throughout remediation projects
- Provide regular progress updates and final documentation to clients and relevant project stakeholders
