About The Position
This is an instructor pool for the 2026-2027 academic year for part-time Associate Instructor positions in Religious Studies.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in religious studies, theology, or philosophy.
- OR master’s degree in religion (approved comparable degree at MiraCosta College).
- OR bachelor’s degree in any of the above AND master’s degree in humanities.
- OR a valid appropriate California Community College Credential in the discipline area.
- OR the equivalent.
- Sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability and ethnic backgrounds of community college students.
