The Department of Asian Studies teaches a variety of courses relating to East Asia, South Asia, South East Asia and religions from those areas. This posting is for individuals with the ability to teach the courses listed below for the fall semester ASIA 1120: Religions of the East Online, Asynchronous ASIA 1140: Cross-Cultural Perspectives I M&W: 12:30-14:20 ASIA 2250: Buddhism M & W: 10:30-12:20 ASIA2260: Asian Mythology W: 18:30-21:20 Course content and learning outcomes are established for each course. The instructor will be responsible for updating content, preparing lectures and slide decks as needed, drafting, and marking assignments/quizzes/examinations, holding office hours, and communicating with students through email regarding the course material. In addition to the teaching responsibilities, the instructor will be expected to be available to participate in departmental activities and meetings.
