This posting is an opportunity to provide veterinary services as an independent contractor, not as an employee. Services are performed in person at designated Community Clinic locations. Any engagement is subject to applicable credentialing requirements and execution of a separate written independent contractor agreement with the applicable contracting entity. As a Relief Veterinarian, you will get the satisfaction of providing care for pets in a community clinic setting, without the pressures of a full-service veterinary environment. Whether you are a recent graduate or a seasoned veterinarian looking to further advance veterinary care in your communities, contracting with us might be for you. The Relief Veterinarian’s primary purpose is to provide high-quality preventive care and client education. This role will be responsible for delivering preventive care at our weekday or weekend Community Clinics and exercise independent professional judgment while providing services consistent with applicable law, professional standards of care, patient safety requirements, and clinic documentation requirements. Relief Veterinarians may choose whether to accept individual clinic assignments. There is no minimum number of assignments or hours required, and no guarantee of any minimum number of assignments, hours, or compensation.
