About The Position

As a Relief Counselor, you support individuals facing mental health challenges and help them live independently and beyond perceived limitations. You provide direct support, help meet daily living needs, and maintain a safe and inspiring environment. The role offers flexibility to accommodate personal, work, and/or school schedules. An additional hourly differential may apply based on skills, location, training, and the populations served in certain programs; applicants are encouraged to ask their recruiter whether this position qualifies.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Reliability, willingness to learn, and openness to new opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and implementing individualized, person-centered support plans.
• Help individuals access community resources and provide transportation as needed.
• Implement activities that promote skill development, community engagement, personal growth, and meaningful relationships.
• Review and complete required documentation.
• Provide direct support care and help ensure individuals’ daily living needs are met while maintaining a safe and inspiring atmosphere.
