About The Position

The Relationship Specialist works at the Yazoo City Branch in Yazoo City, Mississippi. The role focuses on identifying members’ needs and proposing financial solutions that support members’ goals while promoting the credit union’s values. Responsibilities include opening member accounts based on an analysis of member needs, offering loan solutions, educating members about improving their financial positions and reaching their financial goals, and serving as a liaison to resolve potential problems. The position emphasizes privacy, accuracy, trust, and building relationships that serve members and the credit union.

Requirements

Two to five years of experience in sales or relationship management; financial institution experience is preferred.
Articulate, with strong verbal and writing skills and the ability to communicate effectively.
Relationship-building and member-engagement skills.
Ability to organize and prioritize workflow.
Ability to promote a positive team atmosphere and work well with others throughout the credit union.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to maintain a very high level of confidentiality.

Nice To Haves

Experience in a consultative sales and service position, preferably in financial services or at a financial institution.
