About The Position

Johnson Financial Group is hiring an entry-level Relationship Banker for its Consumer Banking team. This role is an entry point into branch banking, providing a foundation in banking fundamentals and opportunities for professional growth through the company’s training and development program. As the face of the bank, the Relationship Banker provides personal service, builds meaningful client relationships, and recommends solutions tailored to clients’ financial situations. The position is part of a team committed to serving clients and the community. Candidates must follow the professional dress code, including wearing Johnson Financial Group logo apparel and a name tag at all times. Exceptions for religious or medical needs require prior approval from Human Resources. National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration will be obtained upon hire.

Requirements

High school graduate or equivalent required.
Excellent client service and communication skills.
Genuine care and passion for helping people.
Must adhere to the professional dress code, including wearing Johnson Financial Group logo apparel and a name tag; religious or medical exceptions must be pre-approved by Human Resources.
NMLS registration will be obtained upon hire.

Responsibilities

Perform cash-handling transactions on the teller line.
Balance the cash drawer daily and verify cash provided from and returned to the vault.
Assist with opening and closing the branch and vault daily.
Assist in balancing vault currency and coin and balance the ATM.
Identify clients’ financial needs and recommend solutions suited to their situations.
Meet and exceed referral goals to partners in other lines of business, collaborating to serve clients’ full financial needs.
As the role develops, potentially manage a small client portfolio, proactively deepen relationships, and support client retention.
