About The Position

Wintrust is seeking a full-time Relationship Banker to provide personalized banking services and build lasting relationships with customers. The role combines customer relationship management with teller responsibilities, helping customers identify financial needs and connecting them with appropriate products, services, or specialized experts. The position is onsite in Elmhurst, Illinois, at the Butterfield location. Depending on the shift, the banker may be responsible for opening or closing the bank and may support community and bank events.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in a customer service, financial service, or sales role.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Intermediate computer skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Build lasting customer relationships, discover financial needs, and recommend suitable products and services.
• Collaborate with business partners, including Mortgage and Wealth Management, to connect customers with specialists.
• Operate a teller drawer and serve customers in the lobby or drive-up.
• Open accounts, perform account maintenance, and assist customers with digital products.
• Recognize potential fraud and other risks.
• Depending on the shift, help open or close the bank.
• Support community and bank events.
